For the past eight years, I have been studying the emergence of what might be referred to as “post-secular development” in Southeast Asia. I have documented initiatives in contemporary Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore that have formulated a mode of Islamic practice conducive to corporate success and transnational competitiveness. In documenting this phenomenon, I have argued that, whereas much of the post-colonial history of what were formerly called “developing nations” was characterized by what the anthropologist James Ferguson has referred to as “faith in development,” recent efforts to merge Islamic practice with scientific and technical knowledge instead represent efforts to develop faith. 內容：揭示意識形態/權勢的虛假 就內容來說，孫寶玲提到啟示錄的獨特之處在於焦聚在竊踞神位置的意識形態/權勢，其中地上的權勢及其行為至為明顯（十二至十三）。啟示錄的智慧，就是揭示意識形態/權勢的虛假，呼喚人回轉真正的主宰及其創造心意。孫寶玲引用Pablo Richard的話：「天啟作品是意識形態的對頭……[後者]遮掩真相並且合理化欺壓」，並提到「意識形態三部曲」（John B. Thompson）：一、合理化 （Legitimization）；二、規範/控制思考（Framing the thought）；三、使之必然/常理（Reification/naturalization）。所以，意識形態/權勢就是神祕化、刻意誤導的過程。權勢之可怕在於扭曲資訊、製造假象，而不是明顯地錯誤，就如十三章的地獸看上去如同羔羊基督。這一切使人感覺無奈，不願相信，聽不清、看不準，怯於跟隨羔羊。啟示錄就是要撕破意識形態的謊言。 Read more at christiantimes.org.hk

常想提筆談談我們大家共同的心願，就是心境與關係，會通與轉化，卻似乎總等不著那個恰當的時機，現在大概就是了。

昨晚偶然厚基、啟銘、冠任、文杰、維康，以及我在野鹿館上廳深談，欲罷不能，像我們過去常常停不了那樣。

談起了心靈的共識，比如服事人就是服事主，放棄權利，小事忠心，退讓與包容，愛你的仇敵，凡有的還要加給他，似乎貧窮卻是富足等等，大家用誠心的禱告結束時，原來已是凌晨一點多了。

今天讀報紙提及，台北市建國假日花市舉行「百花品嚐會」，圖文並茂，告訴我們菊花生魚片，玫瑰花瓣生拌沙拉，多麼可口啊！中國人真是愛講「用」！花看不飽，用吃的比較好。──昨晚的那些有「用」的心靈原則，正是基層的日常人生最有用的信仰真理。

談到這裡，你可以明白會通與轉化是仍然在發展中。......
